The construction of Jiangxi Yihuang Industrial Park began in 1996. It is a provincial industrial park that was announced by the National Development and Reform Commission and approved by the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province in 2005.
Jiangxi Yihuang Industrial Park covers a planning area of 14,990 mu, and an actual developed area of 7,500 mu. The investment in its infrastructure has accumulated to 800 million yuan. The whole park is developed along the highways in the shape of a strip, and consists of three communities, namely “Fenghou Industrial Community”, “Liulipu (Tanfang) Industrial Community” and “Guancang Industrial Community”. There are 178 enterprises in the park, of which 136 are industrial enterprises, 37 are industrial waste recycling and utilizing companies, and five are non-industrial enterprises. A new industrial development pattern is taking shape in the park, in which there are four leading industries, ie plastic products, chemical engineering & construction materials, machine manufacturing and modern textiles, and other industries such as special paper and nonferrous metals are also advancing.
Jiangxi Yihuang Industrial Park has successively won titles such as “The First Batch of Trial Parks of Circular Economy of the Province”, “An Outstanding Collectivity of the Province in Saving Energy and Protecting the Environment”, “Industrial Base for Plastic Products of Jiangxi”, etc. Since 2008 in particular, it has won “Third Place in the Construction of Industrial Parks and Industrial Economic Development” in the comprehensive evaluation of the Municipal Party Community and the Municipal Government for three successive years, and another dozen glorious titles such as “Outstanding Collectivity in Investment Promotion Among Industrial Parks of the City”, “Outstanding Collectivity in New Projects Among Industrial Parks of the City”, “Outstanding Industrial Park of the City”, “Outstanding Collectivity in Industrial Clusters Among Industrial Parks of the City”, etc.
