Fuzhou is rich in electric power. The distribution capacity of the power grid achieves 1,310,000 kilowatts. Non-industry and general industry with electric power utilization under one kilovolt pay at the price of 0.753 yuan per kilowatt hour and those with electric power utilization from 1 to 10 kilovolts pay at the price of 0.738 yuan per kilowatt hour; Large-scale industry with electric power utilization from 1 to 10 kilovolts pays at the price of 0.612 yuan per kilowatt hour, those with electric power utilization from 35 to 110 kilovolts pay at the price of 0.597 yuan per kilowatt hour and those with electric power utilization of 110 kilovolts pay at the price of 0.582 yuan per kilowatt hour. Industrial water is charged at 1.7 yuan per ton.

The labor force of Fuzhou City is high in quality and low in cost. The wage levels of administrative personnel, technical personnel and skilled workers are equivalent to half of that in Shanghai and one third of that in Guangdong.
